Ok guys I was thinking about tinting my head/fog lights the same as my windows, blacking out the grill and geting the Infiniti emblem a kind of gun metal grey like the wheels. So what do you guys think. By the way this is not my car just a picture of a black g like mine with the wheels I want to get (plus a little photo shop) I will have it lowered about 1" when I do this. Let me know what ya'll think.
I'm not sure if the picture will show up. If it is not there can someone tell me how to post a photo shop pic on here.

hummm I'd probably make the side markers white with a tint too.
how about drivability though? would your headlights be kinda dim, or no?
definitely need to lower that car.

The side markers are tinted in the picture but it dosn't show up well, the picture is crap but I have only been working w/ photo shop for about an hour when I cranked this out so I'm sure in real life it would look much better.
As for the lights I was thinking about geting those super white bulbs (or what ever there called) and I figured with the tint it shouldn't be much darker then OE lights.:smoker2:

wait a minute...
so If i place a 35% black tint film over my amber side markers on my 99 g20 the light will still show even though the film is concealing it?

External lights are on the car for one purpose, safety. You should keep the maximum light out of your headlights and side/rear markers. There is no reason to tint any external lighting.

I tinted my foglights some time ago, but I have no pictures... It looked quite cool... but I managed to tint them too much, so they where useless, just for show.
with the black tintspray, one could make cool lightbrows, eyebrows (or whatever it should be called), but only on a black car. a friend of mine tried it with the lights still on the car. the tint didn't go to good like that, but as long as you take lighthousing out of the car and lay them on a level surface, the tint should turn out fine.

Hey do you know what the name of the spray was and where I can get it? As for the lights being to dark, haven't you ever seen those mustangs and comaro's with the light covers on them, I have ridin in a couple of cars using the covers and there lights are darker but not to much and again I am going to switch to the ultra white bulbs so hopefuly that will make up some of the difference. I probably won't mess with the tail lights but I do want to paint all the chrome peaces, any one know what I could use for that?

Wow! You DO learn something new every day, as that old saying goes.
I've been visiting this site since the beginning of the year. Sometimes I learn how to improve my car, how to save a few rubles or simply to reinforce my decision on buying a G20. I'll even get helpful advice from fellow P10 & P11 owners about discreet noises that mysteriously appear from the oily bits beneath my hood (or "bonnet" for you Primera types)
Thanks to this particular thread, I'm discovering how to read Ebonics. Is this truly the new grammar being taught in our 'Murrican public schools? Quite soffistikated, ain't it now? I dun seen HeeHaw wen I was a young-un mahself. Dis here's a hole new way a'rightin' doun what I feels is the way a'spellin' werds like Comaro n' Dail Ernhart n' NASSCAHR n' Vittles n'stufff. Yeehaaahr!!
