Do you guys like my collection?

That's 1/4 of what I've got

I need to start building those kits

Working 70 hours week doesn't give me any time to enjoy my hobby

You live in the U.S., you have a job and you work 70 hours a week. Count your blessings. I dont know how so many of you guys can go all out like that. I've seen someone on here post up a picture of his 2 walls full of kits :yikes: from floor to ceiling. I once had 5 kits undone and was already feeling the butterflies in my stomach from the anxiousness of not getting at least started with one of them.

Yep, I'm in that club. I would say a lot may be like me that the amount he pictured is not in just a month, two, or three months span but years of collecting. :runaround:

Great Collection!

I'm starting to feel like I'm 'normal' now lol...allow me to explain:

I've just recently got back into model making, I loved it as a kid but sucked at it and I couldn't get everything I needed back then, no job (school), so no expensive airbrush kits, paint colllections, p/e etc...

Now I'm older, got enough $$$ I'm getting back into it and doing great! ... however I have this strange addiction to ebay buying kits... I've already got 10 kits waiting to be built.... I just can't help it lol.

To be honest, out of my collection there were probably 2 or 3 kits which were rare, I had to work very very hard to find them and so sometimes you can't afford to just let one kit that you like go because you may never be able to buy it again :(

Well, if you are having trouble getting them built you could send some of those kits my way. I'd be happy to relieve you of your burden. I'm always looking for ways to help out my fellow modelers.

I used to limit myself to not buying a kit until I was nearly complete with the last one. Too many times though I found myself missing out on kits that became unobtainable or very expensive when I started looking again. Now if I have an interest, I buy it. Yes, I have WAY more kits than I'll ever build, but it's better than looking for a model and thinking I should have bought that when I had the chance.

I too belong to the club, and I couldn't agree more on the comments.

This is indeed my logic too.

I've come to realise that having two projects on the go isnt too bad, for example, if your waiting for paint to cure on a shell of car#1 which could take [x] days then you can move onto preparing the shell of car#2 for primer/paint etc.

Great collection. Im extremely jealous, I love the Tamiya motorcycle kits, and would love to have all of those. I currently have 5 motorcycle kits in my stash.

I have almost that many 1/12 F1 kits...talk about taking a while to finish! Plus I have many, many 1/20 f1 kits along with a bunch of MotoGP and sportscar kits.

However, I'm disabled, so I have plenty of time on my hands, when and if I feel up to it....:shakehead
