V6 to V8 gauge cluster conversion.

I have a 1998 3.8 camaro. is there any way that the Z28 gauge cluster would work in a v6? or atleast the speedometer could be tuned to fit a 155mph speedometer overlay? Is it possible to get the computer tuned to the right speed pulses to make this work?
