Is the 41 WILLYS COUPE STREET ROD 1:25 REVELL a good kit to buy. I always liked the shape of the Willys coupe but I wanted to know some things about the kit. Some questions:
Is the molding accurate
Does the kit fit well together
Is the kit easy to lower or customise
Do the doors open
Does the bonnet come off
Thanks,
F.C

1 The body looks like a Willys and I have not heard any complaints.
2 The kit fits very well and easy IMO. The rear suspension is a little tricky to get glue securely but, will work fine with otherwise.
3 You will have to cut the frame to lower the car or you can buy "Perrys Resin" frame that is lowered and made for a bigger engine and wider tires.
4 The doors do not open but, there was an much older Rev. willys that did have opening doors.
5 The engine hood does come off. It has molded clips on the sides that don't look realistic but, when painted they are not offensive.
If I have time I will post some pictures of my box stock build.
