even with these detailed directions i cant find anything!
under the hood, on the evaporator housing, behind the accumulator. It should be between the fan, and the evaporator, and have a sorta square plug with 4 or 5 wires i think. Itll have 2 small screws holding it on.
is it really that far behind the accumulator? thats the black cylinder for the a/c right? i cant seem to find anything. yet guys are posting how easy they are to change......... what am i missing here? on a 97 f-150 4.6L do i need to remove something to make it easier?

Have you checked under the dash near the blower motor?

Look behind the glove box. They use the air flow from the blower motor to keep cool so they are typically mounted really close to them.
