I have a friend who needs some help.
He just bought a 99 cougar which has a brake problem.
Put new calipers and new hoses on it but didnt help.
When you first touch the brakes the steering wheel turns to
the left just a little but the car pulls to the right.there is a little roaring soundat this time.push the brake alittle harder stops fine and straight.any help or advice would be appericated.

Thanks charles546.

Did the ball joint fix the problem or do you still have a problem?

Put the car on four jack stands. Pull the wheels and watch the calipers. Have someone else push on the brakes. Look at the mounting hardware for the calipers. Are the calipers moving properly. Look at the rotors for signs of rubbing. A bad front wheel bearing can cause problems.
