AlteredRides

I have been working on this one for the past week now.
The body, undercarriage, and fire wall was painted with duplicolor mocha frost. It looks like a silver , but I will get some daylight pics so you can see what I mean.

I started working on the interior.
Painted with Testors Light Aircraft gray, followed by plum purple trim, and flocked with a mixture of charcoal gray and white.

I then mocked the interior tub to the body and I like how it is looking so far.

Still needed a few more details in the interior
Seatbelts , and a couple CD's layin in the front seat

Now here is where I started to have a change of heart. Originally this was going to be a lowrider, but then I wasnt happy with the kit engine, so I dug through parts boxes and found the engine from a 70 Impala. With a little shortening of the driveshaft and using the Bel Air oil pan, this fit perfectly. Found a nice looking carb, and air cleaner for this one as well.
So here is the mock up of how I think it is going to look.
