Tail lights

Ive noticed the taillights on the 3500's have a slightly different lense, has anybody tried to see if they would fit a 1500?

As far as i know its not the lense you have to worry about i would think that part of them would fit, it how they mount that you should look into(electrical connector and mounting holes), one thing you could try is to call a dealership and see if they are interchangeable or not. i work at a body shop and have thought about this same thing with my truck going to a new style tail light, but didn't know how big of an ordeal it would be.

I just like how they have the plastic inbetween the lights but I have only seen them on the duelleys so they might be too wide.
