Noise from trans on cold start

I had my 4t65e trans rebuilt by a mechanic friend of mine and drove after picking it up approx 50 miles running various errands. At one point had to brake suddenly then accelerate and noticed slippage. Got home checked fluid level and had to add 2 1/2 qts. Now on cold start makes mild noise for about 10 seconds then goes away. Trans shifts fine runs good. Not leaking. Anything I should be concerned about?

Anything I should be concerned about?This is something the mechanic that rebuilt the transmission should be allowed to here, sounds like someone forgot to check the fluid level after the engine warmed up! Without hearing the noise, we could only speculate! :rolleyes:
