Radio not showing the time

I have a 2004 Freestar and according to my owners manual the stock radio (the 6 disk CD changer model) should show the time, but it does not. In fact the cycling the menu button doesn't even show the time menu described in the owners manual. I noticed while looking at other Freestars some of the higher trim models have an analog clock in the dash above the radio. This makes me wonder if there is a hidden switch that turns off the digital clock option on the radio. Anyone????????

Surely someone has something... I'd be happy to here from someone with a 2004 Freestar that has a 6 disk changer comment on if their system shows the time.

Don't have a clock in the CD changer. We do have a small chrome analog clock in the center console.

Hey Davescort97, what year Freestar to do you have? Do you have the 6 disk changer version?
Thanks

Normally, it should shown the clock on the radio. There's no switch for that. Are you playing a CD? If so, press the "text button" (preset 6) or press "FM" to stop the CD. It may display the clock.
Or try to turn off the radio to see if it's working.
It should be like in the Windstar 2003 with CD changer:

Or like the Flex that I drove. I don't have a Freestar.
