This was my first paint job with an airbrush. The paint is Testors (yes, the worst paint to use) Blue Metal Flake mixed with high gloss clear and wetsanded, and layed about 3 more coats of clear on top.
Rims are from Hoppin Hydro's. Not the best looking Cragar Supreme rims, but they worked out on this one.

Looks like the car and the paint came out good! What brand of kit is that?

Nice work, love the paint job.

I'm getting my first airbrush (Iwata) at the end of this month... any tips for those just starting out (airbrushing)?

Did you spend a couple of hours getting used to the airbrush? I've had good results with cans but there are times where i really need to control the pressure.

Thank you very much. The kit is the Revell snap tite kit. you can get them for like 13-20 bucks on ebay, and even though it is a snap kit, you can detail the heck outta them.

Honestly, this was my first paint job with the airbrush. I practiced on a spare body, for a few days, when I got comfortable, I then painted this.
You would be surprised what kinda paint schemes you can do with rattle cans.
