Hi All,

I wasn't quite sure whether this was the correct place to post this. Please let me know if I am wrong.

My name is James Sappenfield, and I am a student in a management school in Boston. As part of a class project, my team is currently designing a device called the tailgate sensor, that allows you to detect when you are tailgating/being tailgated. Would you mind taking a survey on this? We would really appreciate the responses and help.

Thank you! I really appreciate the help! This will help us out significantly in our project.

Link to Survey: Please PM me if you would like to take the survey. I am not able to post the link due to channel conflict. Thank you!

James,,, how can you currently be designing a device that is already on the market through your link at $120. ? " are you on this site for some free advertising ,,,lol.

As for your project,,, it will never work, drivers got enough problems keeping up with their GPS where going, never mind what's behind.

Hi Ray! That is the website we designed for our project. If you look at the bottom, it actually states that the website is fake and entirely for educational purposes. There is no way to actually purchase the product.

Thank you for your input! It is much appreciated!

James

It does not look that way to me.

Your link is actively advertising your product (I don't care if it exists), your company, a group of real commercial retailers and an auto club.

All this is contrary to AF user guidelines that you agreed to when you signed up here.

I apologize. Like I said, doing this for a class project. I will go ahead and remove the website link. Can I leave the survey? It links to the website though.....

You should remove all links, including the one for the survey, but you can leave the message itself.

If a member wishes to take the survey they can send you a private message and you can reply with the links and info in a return private message.

I am sorry to be a jerk, but the AF rules are here for a reason. AF is a commercial site and depends on advertising revenue for its existence. Your site and links are not fair for our clients who pay for the right to advertise here.

Furthermore, your links and site are not fair to the thousands of forum members who refrain from promoting their own businesses or employers here for free.

Thank you.

She may be cheap but she's not easy :)

Tailgating by an experienced driver does not bother me. In fact, it can improve the gas mileage of both cars.
