5 spd... how stout?

Hey all. I have a bead on a '99 Honduzu Passdeo, V6/5 spd, with 92k on the odometer. I searched, and found that the stick has a long throw. I can handle that(drove dump trucks for awhile), plus I like to control the engine speed on my own. I had an auto once, and I didn't like the fact that you had to wait for the slow downshift when you had to giddyup. HOWEVER, I dunno how tough the manual trans is in these things. What kind is it(NV3550, AX-15)??? Anyone know the input torque rating?

What I can tell you is the clutch last a very longggggg time! I have 156000 miles on mine. Everything I have seen and read says the trannys are pretty tough!
