Removing side moulding

I want a cleaner look on my gtp so I thought about removing the side moulding of the car door mid-sections. I've seen several gtp's on cardomain that have done it but I wanted to know if anyone has a write up or tips on how to go about it.

No clue man, but I think its just on there with two sided tape. Just be carefull not to remove the paint. And if you have ever needed a door painted or replaced, I'm betting whoever did that work, probably pointed right over the top of the trim rather that removing it to paint under it. So you may remove them to expose a different color enderneath. Just something to think about.
