Anybody got a pic of there throttle linkage with functioning cruise control?

Okay I've sorted out my whole cruise control re-install situation...except the throttle linkage. I've got an Edelbrock carb and I was looking at my old Quadrajet and it looks like maybe I pulled out a stud or something because I can't figure out where the cruise control cable hooks up to. I'm pretty sure it hooks onto the carb just like the gas pedal linkage hooks up, just not sure where.
Anybody got a picture of there factory linkage setup with functioning cruise control? Only reference I have here at home is my buddies Cutlass and it's strange because the cruise control diaphram thing is mounted to the intake in front of the carb, and the cable pulls in the opposite direction as the gas pedal cable. It also has an extra box that's mounted on the wheel well that the speedometer cable junctions through. Must be a pre-speed sensor light on the back of the speedo thing.

Here's the old Q-jet that came on this '87 of mine. TV cable and throttle cable studs are obvious...but where does the cruise control link up? Am I missing a stud that maybe goes in the hole there? My Edelbrock has a similiar hole that looks like maybe a stud goes in there. But then I'm not sure how the end of the cruise control cable attaches being that it's a long open ended thing (see top leftish of bottom picture), probably for adjustment purposes?

I found out I need to order a little $20 cruise control bracket from Edelbrock. Problem solved, hopefully. Now it's on to the problem of my TV cable being the improper length due to the fact that an Edelbrock carb's throttle throw is a 1/4" shorter than the factory Q-jet's throw.

Sorry, I somehow missed this thread. In the linkage on your first picture above, that hole next to the accelerator cable connector is where a 1" stud goes - cruise control connects to this stud.

Thanks silicon, I had been looking into the tvmadeez solution and luckily before I ordered the Edelbrock bracket I found out everything I need can come from Bowtie Overdrives. Ordered it up this morning, tvmadeez kit and throttle bracket w/ cruise control. I'll post how it goes once installed.

Silicon, does the 1" stud you're talking about have a nut on the end of it to clamp down the cruise control cable? Cause it's got that long slotted opening instead of just a regular hole like the throttle cable (pic below)

Or at least a description of how the cruise control cable is hooked to the throttle linkage on the carb? Everyone and there mother that I call asking about this (Edelbrock, etc) says to just put a stud in the hole behind/below the throttle cable's stud and attach the cruise control cable to it. But since the end of the cruise control cable is a long slotted opening how the heck am I supposed to attach it on just a stud? The throttle cable is obvious, it has a hole at the end that attaches to a stud. But the cruise control cable is different.

when the cruise control is not working this slot allows the throttle to be moved with out the cruise being involved.

the cruise on the stock carb will attach to a unthreaded stud that has a groove on the end to accept the "C" clip/washer .this holds the slot in position on this piece of metal, so when the cruise is activated it will pull the slot toward the fire wall and open the throttle.
