i know the civics are fast...but

civics have lag.. and if you have one you know.. well..i needed a change from the 'typical' honda.. a rsx would've been nice.. but i still like my car.. and about civics passing me i don't care.. i'm not a racer :rolleyes:

civics don't have lag, they are just slow.

Lancers and civics are actualy very similar cars. All about the same size in and 3 and 4dr giuses, and come in a range from slow as economy models to surpisingly fast performance models. There heap of aftermarket parts for both, and both have heaps of potential as both race cars and show cars.

Deciding between the two really comes down to your own personal taste, and how you percieve each model.

Compare a POS Civic to a Evo is a DIGRACE!!! They are nothing alike. Civics are slow simple as that...dead slow. If u are talkin about the US Lancer then yes, but the Lancer and Evo are not the same.

He's comparing it to a lancer not an evo

And as for the comparison between the Lancer and Civic, I DESPISE the new Civics......... I'd take even the US spec Lancer over ANY 96+ Civic with the exception of the '99-00 Civic Si........which is just ......OK.

And I'd take the EVO over any car Honda/Acura makes. NSX? What's that? haha

The only lag I know is turbo lag. And if it's got turbo lag, you ain't driving it right! And civic's don't even have factory turbo's.

Don't forget that Civic's don't deserve turbo's

When she says "lag" I am almost positive she means "lack of torque".... which is so damn true.... honda is famous for lack of torque... why is why you gotta rev the hell out of them to make any power.

don't say civics don't deserve turbos.... if somebody has a civic with I/H/E and a turbo.. and that's all their mods than all the power to them. If anybody wants to make a car faster than why shouldn't they?

haha So I guess a Hybrid Honduh with a fully built and blueprinted bottom end, worked head capable of a 9k rpms redline, pushing 18lbs of boost on a t3/t04e turbo, intercooled with a stand alone fuel system and a direct port 60shot to spool the turbo is good then?
