Try the key dance: keyon/off, on/off. on within 5 seconds without starting engine and you should see the CEL flash (example: flash pause flash flash means code 12).
Let us know the code numbers:
Also here is a site with the how to retrieve codes and code definitons:

Can you give us the problem of the vehicle and it symptoms??
Not sure what the codes are: possibly 11, 12. 23, 37 and 55: Redo the key dance and watch closely for the flashing cel sequences. flash pause flash means code 11. There is a pause between each code sequence.
The more information you can give us the better someone can help.

I was driving on the freeway and it suddenly died. It cranks but wont start. I've replaced the fuel pump , the coil, the ASD (auto shut down sylinoid), and jumpered a hot (+) from the the battery to the coil (+) but it still is not getting spark to the distributor.

Which 4 cly engine do you have, 2.2, 2.5, or 2.6????
Have you removed the distributor cap and watched for rotation of the distributor rotor??? Hae you checked compression???
Sounds to me like either the timing belt or chain has broken, depending on which engine you have.
How many miles on engine???
