94 caprice. loss of power when its raining

I have A 94 Caprice 4.3. Every time its raining real hard , My check engine light comes on and the car will have a loss of power for a second and be fine for A minute then it will do it again. This will repeat until its done raining or the next day.It doesnt lose complete power, its almost like its missing. This is getting anoying please help! Thanks

The only thing i can think of is your plug wires are getting wet or they might need to be replaced due to water getting in cracks if they're old wires

since this is a 1994 the inner fender should have a black fiber material that extends down to reduce water splashing on the engine from the front wheels if this is broken or missing this can get water into the plug wire connections at the spark plugs ..If no dielectric grease was used when the wires/plugs installed at the plug boot ends the water eats away at the silcone centre wire conductor..then the missfiring ...

Yea, its opti.. mine does the same..
all on the ls1lt1.com forum with the lt1 pretty much get the same too.
dont get the SES though.
