But I wanted to share this idea with you... A 1998 Civic Type R coupe. Using parts from the Acura Integra Type R and the Civic Si Coupe from Revell. The thing is they never made a Type R coupe. Am I the only one that has thought of this. I am thinking the process will be actually quite simple, as both cars are essentially the same. So, my question is, is this a stupid or cool idea?

could be the price on everything? i havnt been here in a long time and i just started building again. went to my hobby store tonight, and in less then 2 years, almost everything has almost doubled in price! i couldnt believe it. this will deffinantly slow me down. o well, maybe ill take my time and build better cars now

Well, there are certainly a lot more detail parts and accessories now to spruce up models. Buy a Tamiya or Fujimi kit, add resin and/or photoetch parts and its now $70-100! Welcome back, and post pics of your work!

I was in my LHS today looking for the kits I need for this project. They were actually cheaper than AC Moore or Michaels. The prices at those two were like 25-27 bucks. My LHS had the same kits for 14-17. The MOMO Champion steering wheel I bought for my car was cheaper...
