What is the shift points for a 94 caprice at WOT supposed to be? From 1st to 2nd, mine upshifts at only 4k RPM, never going to 6k.

The rev limiter is below 6000rpms.
How are you monitoring rpms?? A tach could be slow or inaccurate.

I have the tach attached to the Tach output on the PCM..

Sorry don't have the exact specs handy, but I noticed you have the TT! swapped in right? Generally you want to shift about 200-800 Rpm above peak power. I'm pulling thsi out of thin air now but I'd think you'd want the shift between 5200 and 5800 RPM.

TT, twin turbo? The L99 was a twin turbo too though..

On my 94 wagon the 1st gear fuel shutoff is 5500rpms all other gears are 4800rpms.
At this age you can pretty well expect the valvesprings to be so weak they float by 4800rpms anyway.
The stuff I am looking at does the shift primarily in MPH and it was 2.56 gear so I wont bother posting that info.

Uh, I found my answer and I'm very pissed at Autozone.
When I got my PCM replaced, they thought I said 95 Camaro. Argh, so all this time I've been running the wrong tuning. Wonderful, that might be why my last tranny blew on me, all thanks to wonderful AZ flashing of a replacement PCM...
Gearing was wrong, and so was the knock sensor circuit info, it has me setup for 1 sensor, NOT 2, that's why the SES light has been on all this time.

I meant LT. Anyway not sure what the stock setting is but I think an LT should be shifted at around the RPM I stated.
I just saw that AZ put the wrong programming in. Would be good to see what it shifts at with the proper stock programming.
