Well, here it goes, I Bought another 4thGEN!!!!!!!!!!! :D Yep, hehehe, i did it, okay, i was gonna wait untill the end of the year, but i found this and i couldnt pass it up. It is one of my boy's cars from school...... Okay, here, are the details:

90 Civic DX
120,000 Miles on Body
Blown Motor
Grey Color (Like Jon's a.k.a. DropShop) but it has black fenders and hood and no side mirrors because his girl went at it with a Hammer cause he cheated on her....
Its got some cheap-o Rims but will look nice after i powercoat em BLACK
It has a hole in the Dashboard, but very small, good place to put a 5" Monster tach ;)

Yea, so i got it for 400 bucks, and his dad owns a junkyard so i can probably pick up some parts from him for the car and he said he just got in a 94 GSR in the lot that i really wanna get the engine from! He said if i buy the car, he'll sell me the engine for like madd cheap, i said i'll buy it for like 500 bucks, and he said 600 and i said DEAL!!! so i'm gonna check out the motor tommorow :D so for a grand, i got a car and hopefully a GSR Motor, hehehehehe........ MyThird4G should be my name hehehehe. Another reason he sold it to me for cheap is cause he has no plates on the car and it sitting in front of his house on the road and has been geting tickets threatening him that the town will tow it, so i took advantage of it!!!! :D YAY!!!!!!!

Okay, so here are my plans, First, i'm gonna put the sides and rear off the WW kit from my black civic, and put the shocks and struts from it also since they are still good!! and then i'm gonna take out the motor and power wash the inside of the engine bay and clean it as much as i can and stuff, then put in the GSR Motor :) (I love saying that)..... Well, i wanna get a YS1 tranny for it and i'm probably gonna go with HCP Engineering Mounts cause it has the 4th extra Mount (better safe than sorry) and Ha Sport shift linkage, and i'm gonna try and get ahold of a P28 computer and make the car obd1 since the engine is obd1 and chip the computer with something good (havent decided)!! And as for the front, i am gonna do the JDM CRX Front End Conversion because i like the bumpers better than the ones for the hatchie and i'm gonna put this lip on it:

If you're gonna run OBD1 anyways, use the 94-95 P72 GSR ECU. It's made for the B18C1, plus it will actuate the secondary runners, which the 5G ex/si p28 ecu will not. I know that you can chip the p28 easily and everything...but i'd take a stock p72 (u can still get a p72 chipped) over a p28 (chipped or not) anyday. just my 2 cents worth
PS- congrats :)

Cool man, thanks for the info!!! I thought that the p28 was easier, but i guess p72 is the way to go!!

Yo...what kind of memory card do you use in your camera? I have issues with my old-as-shit Kodak 260 digicam needing cables to connect to my laptop. Long story short, the Kodak software recognizes Windows 2000 as NT, so it doesn't load USB drivers, so I had to use SERIAL  -and Kodak has no intentions of writing new drivers for my old camera.

I went to Best Buy and bought a USB compact flash card reader for $20 - It was a GREAT buy...now I don't have to lug the camera around, and a power cable, and a communications cable and all that crap..I take some pics, toss the memory card in the reader and stick it in the USB port. Reads it just like a HDD. A buddy also bought one for $25 for some of the newer camera standards, so they make those too..

Good on ya for finding another 4th gen too. Good luck with the swap ;)

OK, Here's the UPDATE, I got the CAR!!! Its in my girls driveway in front of my Black Si, lol, its cool to walk up the drive way and see two 4th gens from the back, but then when i see the front, i go :(, but i still smile cause i love 4th gens, hehehe, well, anyways, i did not get the motor, because the integra was hit in the front, and the kid told me the integra was hit in the back, it was hit so hard, the valve cover is crackes and the intake manifold sits in the firewall, its that bad..... so i'm like, umm, NO....

Okay, but now i have an idea for a new Engine, i heard of this place that sells honda blocks that are worked, but no internals, so i'd have to buy a head, and pistons and rods and stuff... Its called DART or something, i think i read it in a magazine. So i was thinking i would get a 1.8L DART BLOCK w/ a GUDE Head, and some nice pistons and rods and stuff, would this be a wise decision? or should i buy a swap and have it built up.......

WOW! You are willing to blow $2000 on a block! You are as crazy as I am! Better make it the B20 block and get ur moneys worth! Go CRVTEC with one of those and you will put folks to shame yo! BTW stay away from gude.... They are "No Gude" ;)

I dont even have the patience to explain... Just go to EnDyn and ask Larry why they are "No Gude".... From what I hear there taxed ass "Head Job" doesent last verry long and the parts they "Upgrade" with for $$$$$$$$ are crap... Also I hear after they do there "Port Job" which is more like a hack job, the head then flows like shit in real world inviroments.... I dont give a fuck what there crap flow benches say.
