Ok, I give up on Illustrator. I finally installed it, but its like a woman and either wants all the attention or just leaves, therefore, I am dumping Illustrator. The first time I had half a RX-7 outlined, looked great, then I opened Photoshop, b/c i had some work i had to do with it, and illustrator closed on me, taking my work with it. Then just now, i minimized it to see what all was going on with AF, and then try to open it back up and it decides to close once again, thank god this time it didn't take anything with it.
Sorry about that, just had to vent a little and share my frustrations:D

yea i know, this thing sucks, only has 128 SDRAM, i tried beefing it before when I had money, but it refused. I took out the ram chip that was in there to see what kind it was, said PC133, so I went and got a PC133 512 SDRAM chip and it wouldn't take it. After I get some more money im gonna have my friend build me a computer.
But for now, I will have to dedicate my time to illustrator to get that rx7 finished, it was looking a hell of a lot better on illustrator than photoshop.

ARRRGGGHHHHHHHHHH! That same shit happens to me in Photoshop for no reason. It just closes and i don't even have a chance to save my work! Numerous times i have done this sick chop and BAM it f****** closes on me. I think Adobe needs to fix some bugs or something.

never happens to me on any Adobe stuff.
maybe its just your version, or your computer.. i have XP running 256DDR, 60gig HD, so it should be a problem if you ahve anything more than 256 DDR i think..
strange....
sorry about your work guys:(
hope ya get it fixed or something:D

I haven't had that problem with Photoshop yet, only illustrator. After it does that, i have to restart the computer to get it going again. Gotta love wal-mart computers:rolleyes:

I run it on a laptop.... 1.9 GHz processor, 256 mb of ram, intel celeron, 20 gig hd... no probs here, and I run a LOT of stuff on my comp at once.. we're talking like photoshop, paintshop, internet explorer, winamp, and all my instant messengers at once. Doesn't slow it down a bit.

I HATE THIS COMPUTER!!!!!!!! It sucks so bad. Wasn't even doing anything and it screwed my RX7 once more, thank god it wasn't that much that I had done. I was just sitting there, outlining the car in illustrator, then the computer decides to do something, don't know what, but ended up taking a shitload of ram and killed illustrator, this car is going to take forever to finish.

oh, i keep doing just a little bit of it, then save and quit, so it didn't get much of it this time. Right now I just have from the bottom of the door, up to the driver side fog light, so its not really much

alright well now you all can keep up with my slow progress on this. Its taking me longer this time mainly because im zooming in on the lines and making sure they are all connected right and not gaps or jagged edges
