95 cherokee T-case

I,m back, same 4.0L Auttrans231j trans case.
My sons trans case makes a funny noise when taking off from a stop, I think its the chain (I'm not transmission or tarnsfer case guy).
But if it's the chain I,d rather just put a good used or reman in.
Dose anybody kw where I can get a resonably priced one.
I would like to rebulid it but he needs it for work everyday.

I don't have a wide range of experties here, but are you sure its the transfer case? All I can suggest is to start with a good fluid flush of the transfer case, the front and rear pumpkins, and the transmission too. Check all the u-joints for abnormal ware etc. These items get neglected all too often. I'll bet you could rebuild it with out to much hastle, on a saturday etc. Check it out and reply!!! DRIVE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT.
