The answer is yes! The pressure in the transmission is much greater than the pressure in the cooling system and when you run the car it forces the fluid into the radiator. On the other hand you need to check the transmission for water as when the engine is not running the water can get into the transmission fluid.
To fix this you need to remove the coolant lines from the radiator and install an external trans cooler or you need to replace the radiator. Also have the fluid in the transmission filter and fluid changed. You may also want to drain and flush the cooling system to get the tranny fluid out of the cooling system.
