Any help would be great!!! 1997 Sunfire 2.2L

Hey guys. Im having issues with my girls car. She has a 97 Sunfire with the 2.2L. I posted in this forums bc the Cavalier and Sunfire are the same car. Well, onto the issues. Ok. When its wet/moist outside the car starts, sets a CEL light, and runs very rough (wants to stall as if the crank Pos sensor is going out). I pull the codes its for a Crank pos sensor, and Cam pos sensor. Now, it has a brand new crank sensor in it. Now the weird part. If its dry outside, nothing is wrong. The car runs, drives with no issues. Now at first i thought the cam sensor was going bad, but i noticed it only had issues when its wet outside. And when i mean wet, i mean the car hasent been driven at all that day, and its just been raining, or it has been misting all day, and when u start the car it starts acting up right away. If its nice or dry outside it will run and drive with no issues. Anyone have any ideas what can be doing this. Im sure its a electrical issue, but where?? How can i diagnose this?? Im at witts end with this thing, and im lost. I changed the crank sensor bc b4 she got the car it set a code for it, and i put one in, and it was good. Then one day she goes to drive it when its wet out, and it started this. I have driven the car in the rain b4 and it never acted up, till recently. And now only when wet out it acts up. Any ideas on what the hell to do would be great!!!! Thanks guys in advance!!!!

plug wires or plugs get them wet when its running good and it should start to run bad or you may even see a little lighting type show

Jd= Thanks for the reply, but now if i did that, would that cause the CEL light to come on and set a CKP and CPS codes?? If that the case ill try that next time im by her house. Thanks again for the help.

That will make it run bad if the wires or plugs are bad, but shouldn't set a cam or crank code.

I'd start it up when it will run good and spray water on the cam and crank sensor connectors since you have the codes for them. Get one thouroughly soaked, wait a bit for the water to soak in, then get the other one soaked. It could also be a problem with a wire or connector.
