p.s. wsup with the wack ass warranty rule.. cant do a thing to the car or the whole car warranty voids?? wat kind of nasty shit is that!

Sorry, no funny sound from mine as you are describing. MayB C what the dealer thinks (waste of trip that it may B). I got 5K miles on mine. Started modding already, but saving all stock parts (in case I need to reinstall them to get warranty work -- hehe) Have 3" exhaust so far and VishnuTuning Xede add on computer, which allows you to DOWNLOAD progressive modification maps from their website, and UPLOAD them into the Xede with your computer !! No more guesswork, or compormise one-time chip burning adventures. They also give you diff maps for 91 or 93 octane fuel...nice. "Valet" map is really great, which renders the car almost undriveable if you have to turn your car over for ANY reason........tire store, alignment shop, bodywork shop, etc. I wonder if the noise you are hearing is simply typical gear whine (as the car is rather QUIET in stock form). Watch your brake pads, mine were GONE after ONE weekend of road race track time. I replaced them with EBC YelloStuff pads, which will last quite a bit longer and have a higher temp rating also. When your tires go away, replacing them with anything other than an "R" compound DOT-approved roadrace tire will be a DOWNGRADE. No other street (non- "R" tire) tire will compare to it, 'cep mayB for the Bridgestones that comes on the STI.
