Finally managed to finish another model. This time it's the Subaru Impreza P2000 as driven by the late Possum Bourne during the 2001 Rally Australia.
More pictures on my website (click here (http://photos.keepturningleft.com/))

Base kit is the 1/24 Tamiya Subaru Impreza WRC. It's converted using a copy of the Studio27 transkit (long OOP now). The rollcage and several other in-car parts have also been modified to represent the P2000-version instead of the normal WRC.

Looks excellent! the added details look good, including what look like P/E wipers.

I love it. I looked everywhere for the transkit when I did my version of this car, but no .... Yours is great.

Thank you all for the kind words!

Looks excellent! the added details look good, including what look like P/E wipers.

Indeed they are. I used some parts of the SMS detailset.

I love it. I looked everywhere for the transkit when I did my version of this car, but no .... Yours is great.

I eventually found the transkit on evilbay about a year ago; paid top price for it too...:screwy: Then I asked a friend to make resin copies of it.... so now I can make many P2000's :grinyes:

Great job, congratulations!!!
PS i like warning message on the boot - "caution left hand drive". As far as i know it concern only Australia and New Zealand rallyes.
