i would appreciate any advice you can give.
heres the scenario: transporting a leaky old gas can for a lawnmower in my car, take a turn and gas spills on my cloth seats. try and clean it up best i can, thinking it will just evaporate.
that was over 3 weeks ago.
the smell isn't really a problem, the fumes are a different story, if i drive for over 15 minutes my eyes start burning and i get a gross chemical taste in my mouth I can't get rid of.
Took it to a detailing shop, for $140 got it steam cleaned and shampooed for the entire upholstery, it looks clean, but still smells like chemicals, and I'm still getting burning eyes and the taste in my mouth.
I'm airing it out whenever I can, but im going crazy, i dread the thought of driving anywhere for the assault on my senses. any thoughts on what I should do next?

Now does it smell like gasoline or cleaning chemicals?
