i have 97 civic hatchback 5-speed, just put ex v-tec head on, solinoid clicks when 12 volts go's to it but, cannot feel anymore power at all whatsoever, none, the only thing i put on was head, nothing else at all, no exhaust, intake, distributor, injectors, nothing but head, i have computer, but it runs better with stock computer, i am running the 12 volts to it myself, if i kick it in while its idling without giving gas, it acts like it's gonna stall, but when goen down road, reving high, nothing at all, it's a lot faster with this head all together, but no v-tec, or just can't tell cause of nothen added with head, just looken for some advice onnn whether it's actually worken or not? is solinoid just maken noise and not worken, or is it worken but can't tell cause nothing is on with the head, thanx for any advice from anyonne

20+ ppl l@@k'n and no advice huh, Check ur wiring to the solenoid, oil pressure. make sure you are using a vtec ecu of course. At idle it wont do anthing, not enough oil pressure. Some single cams you can heir some it's weak. Try to punch it at a lower rpm, then hit ur switch 3,5-4k. 2nd/3. make sure to listed for change over. GL
