Completed: Tamiya 1/24th Porsche 911 GT2 “Soko Keibi”

This was a quick build for me, probably 7-8 modelling days work. A nice simple kit with some nice touches, such as the separate door handles and barely-visible intercooler. I added Studio27 seat belts but other than that it is box stock. I was expecting the decals to be a nightmare after my recent Celica Rally build, but these were a real pleasure to use, laying down well and responding nicely to MicroSol/Set. The paint is Tamiya white and Tamiya Bright Red which I used instead of MS-3 (couldn’t source any) – the match to the decals is pretty good.

Nice build. Haven't seen this kit before and it's quite a striking colour scheme. I think the engine and chassis could have done with a little wash though, since you've weathered the exhausts, it seems wrong for the rest to be so clean.
