Soaked in the flood

There was a huge typhoon at where I was and my place got flooded real bad. My car is a 2001 Honda Civic and sad to say the flood went inside the car. The flood pretty much lasted for a day and it ended making my car soaking wet and some bad smell. The question now, will my car still be good to go after a general maintenance or is it destined to slowly die cause of the damage? I really don't know what to do!
Repair it or just sell it and buy a new one?
