PCV Grommet

Does anyone have an easy way to get a new PCV grommet pressed into the hole in the the front valve cover? I've been battling with it for a while and having no luck.

Flat head screw driver?

That didn't quite work. I just couldn't get it to slip into there. So i ended up slicing one of the larger portions off, so it had a cross section that looked somewhat like a T. I then put the adhered the grommet using RTV, and put a smooth bead around the outter edge as well. Thus far it seems to be working well.

Did you not have the proper gasket? I just put a new PCV valve in and I went out with the old and in with the new in less than 2 minutes.
