What is the life expectancy of an automatic transmission for an '03 Corolla?

I don't know what the life expectancy would be, but we have an '03 Corolla w/auto trans that has 295xxx miles on it.
It is all hwy miles though (around 250 miles a day).
It is a medical courier vehicle so it gets well maintained.

There you go.
Regular fluid changes and consistent preventive maintenance is what keeps vehicles practically trouble free.
FWIW, I have an '04 Matrix and change the tranny fluid every 30k miles. I'm one who does not believe in waiting for the manufacturers mileage time.
Same goes for engine oil/filter changes, every 3k miles or 3 months. Coolant replacement every 3 years.
Most of our driving here is stop 'n go, but to some that seems like overkill but it works for me.

I am the mechanic that maintains the fleet for the above mentioned medical courier company and I believe in the same maintenance schedule as you do.
I professionally don't agree with how far vehicle manufacturers have stretched out regular service intervals as of late.
Not going to happen if I take care of the maintenance.:nono:

My wife's 03 Corolla has 180,000 miles with original trans, never had any issues, still has original fluid in it.
