left inner tie rod

anybody know the wrench size for the inner tie rod nut that is inside the boot that goes to rack and pinion and how to take it off without removing the rack

There is a special tool for the inner tie rod ends. It's a round tube about 18" long with a 1/2" square drive hole on one end, and has a holder for the "wrench" inserts. I'd guess that's a common loaner tool at most auto parts stores.
