oil?

i purchased a 2001 maxima se 20th anniversary edition about a month ago it's do for a oil change what is the best oil 10w40 or 5w30 reg. oil or go with sythetic oil and at what mileage should i change it every 3,000 or 3,500 filter too? please help me and by the way is has 30,600 miles? thanks

it'll be good for your car if you switched to synthetic oil. its really worth it to. And you could change in 4,000 mile intervals. much better protection then conventional oils.

i use mobil one 10-30 super-syn. i love it. synthetic oil is the way to go

i have a 2k se and have used 5-30 for 48k miles now.

does anyone have a technical opinion about switching to synthetic oil now. would there be any negative effects?

they just say not to run it while the engine is first being broken in cuz it protects so well it won't break in properly.

i use 5w -30 mobil 1 synthetic oil. i luv that oil. its the way to go. :D
