:confused: I have a 2000 pontiac grand prix gt and i was wondering can you put in a igniton switch in yourself or do you have to override the SECURITY system at the dealership.? thanks

Nope, you can do it yourself. The transponder key reciever is actually a seperate unit from the actual ignition switch/harness.
