I have a 95 Chrysler seabring v6 2.5L. I put a brand new 350 dollar distributor on it and it started up like new. It had a bad ground that was wearing off from age and sitting so long. The ground goes from the battery to the chassis of the car. about a foot away. With the battery still connected I was checking it out and I pulled it off the chassis. So I then dissconnected the battery and fix the ground using the same wire I just reconnected it better with a new bolt harness similar to the one that was there. Since I used the same wire I moved the attactment point to the bolt a little to the left of the orginal one it was attacted to. To me I think the new attactment point is about the same as the original one being about the same, right next to each other, and connected by metal. Now when I put the key in and turn it I get no power on the inside asscorsies so it does not even attempt to crank. My Question is did I kill my cars computers by disconnecting the chassis ground with the battery still attached, where should I start and what should I do. I am a 19yr old young man and I need help. I will appreciate any help.
