I have been trying to get my car started for the last week and i dont know what to do next. I had to replace a broken timing belt and have done everything that the book says for me to do and still the car is not starting. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it. Also, if the screwdriver/oil thing isnt right, will that cause my car not to start? Any info will be appreciated.

If you broke the timing belt there are a few things that could be wrong. #1 You didn't get it in time correctly #2 you bent some valves. Do a compression check and double check the belt is in time. If all that is good you might have damaged the crank sensor which is next to the crank pulley.

I will check the compression but i had opened up valve cover and turned the crank two rotations. The parts were moving how they were supposed to, I will post something about the car tomorrow, thanks!

They will LOOK ok as far as mechanical operation goes but if they are bent, even slightly, they will not seal when closed. A compression check will tell you if they are sealing or not.
