LeSabre 93 tranmission problem

In cold weather the car won't move untill it has been warmed up for about 5 minutes. Obviously, this is not a problem during the summer. Any help would be gratly appreciated.

This was a very common problem until GM upgraded the seals. Click Here (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=3671523&postcount=7) for more info. BTW, when you first start the car, put it in reverse and let it sit for 30-sec before engaging into D (drive).

Thank you for the reply I really appreciated. I don't do complicated work on my other than regular maintenance, but I like to find out about the problem before I take it to the mechanic so that I know what to expect.
