PF52 Filter update
Blue Bowtie

If you use the PF52 filter, don't be too shocked when you open a new one. They are smaller, have a different part number, and are now clearly marked "Product of USA." The head looks very thin, but closer inspection reveals an inner head of thicker material crimped between the shell pieces. The thin stainless plate may be only for the anti-drainback valve to seat, but it appears not to contact the valve disc. It may only be a metering plate. The valve still appears to be some sort of nitrile or EPDM, and not paper like some Fram filters have been using for years now. I'll be the first to report if there are any problems.
