Having trouble getting the pan to drop. All the bolts have been removed. Dont want to pry on it to much since everything is aluminum. Any suggestions?

Whack is with a rubber mallet until it pops.

You sure you got all the bolts? There are a couple really stupid ones that have to come out, like the lower A/C compressor, and 2 near the flywheel/flexplate. They are not the normal sized bolts as the rest of the ones through the pan.

If you are 100% sure they are all out, get yourself a wide flat head screw driver and start at a corner with a hammer at the seam. Or if you have a sturdy dry wall mud spreader( can't think of its proper name right now) that will work to break the seal, just don't pry with it. You'll nick up the corner slightly, this will cause no harm and will re-seal properly with more sealer. GM uses a really strong anaerobic sealer which is a beeotch to break its seal.

DO NOT DO THIS, it will not break the seal.
