I have a 1989 Grand Prix with a 2.8L.It recently quit on me while accelerating out of a parking lot into traffic. Now it won't stay running.Has new fuel pump,TPS,plugs and wires,is getting spark, checked the IAC,MAP,ECM,EGR,CPS all is good.It gives a MAP code but I tried a different MAP to no avail. It will turn over and start but runs like it is on 2 cylinders and as soon as you give it gas it quits.I am pointing toward timing issue

Double check your fuel pressure. Just because a part is new, doesn't mean it couldn't/didn't fail.

Is it getting spark on all cylinders? You could yank the ICM off there and bring it in for testing.

I hear ya....I do not have a pressure gauge to do that..the first thing I did with this problem is change the fuel pump that only had 10,000 miles and I thought it had failed..figured what are the odds 2 pumps are bad.
I know I should still check that though
