I would like to ask the members here if someone here has a direct contact with the member Rockinanko course the last 'email' I have is from August, 6th 2009 and I really like to know if he is still oké.
If that person can reach him please let him/her write me a private message.

I just like to get in contact again or maybe he has no access to the internet right now sothat he is closed off right now (what I can comprehend).

I am waiting on 14 model kits from him that he would have send to me August the 6th.
So US$ 268 dollars down the drain.

Great friend for 6 years huh.

Do I feel like a big idiot to give him time for sending after the 90 day worranty of eBay has past.

If anyone can help me to get back in contact with him I would be very greatfull.

It's a shame that so much money is in question. Checking his profile, he was last active on this site on June 1st of this year. If I remember correctly he had to leave modelling. Anything beyond that, I do not know. I hope that somehow word can get to him, if possible.

I did buy a couple of kits from him in the beginning of this year, I am searching to see if I can find his e-mail I used to make the deal, if I find it I will post it here.

BTW, he had awesome kits and it came all in very good condition, well packed and etc...so lets hope he is OK and you get your kits asap!

He is not answering on that mail address that you provided course he is using that since I made contact with him in 2003 so that's a bommer.
The deals you made with him wure on eBay too or as private course if it was on eBay it might have been in the same periode when I won the kits from him (Payment Apr. 28th).

I found an account from eBay, RCgroup.com [last online 23 Nov] (1 reason he stopt with model making) and here.
Under his real name I have found a Facebook but if it is him .... I do not know seeming that I have no clue what he looks like (It looks to be from him course I recognize his kids).

One thing I am considdering is to go to Singapore !

Yeah, the problem is that like the rest of us, only one or two people out of 1000 build models. I don't know a single one of my local friends that have been on here.

Yes,

Contact is (somewhat) restored and we exchange mails through a forum for R/C stuff.
He promest me that he is going to send the first box (just like 6 months ago) and contact me again.

I really hope it will go through this time and that he and I can finish this.

Good news so far.

He has a ruff time and told me that his computer was down too.
So het did small posting via mobile or in internet cafè.
To me it sounds a bid suspicious :shakehead but then again I am not in his shoes.

I do hope so that he pulls through and finds the heard & time to finish his mod body's again.

And the shipment of the kitjes ... will see in due time.
Most are donors for resin body's (at this time I am not even in this stage so there is still time).


When I find the time again to continue with my Dino I think it will get a place here too.
Like to see what you 'star' builders think of it and what I am doing wrong :p

Hello Guys,

According to the shipping code the 1st package of 5kg was put on the ship on the 7th of Januari.
So about next week I hope to have it here and give the good news back to Rockinanko that it has made the journey safely.

Hopefully at that time he can recieve payments again so I can pay for the first shipping and that he can use that again to send the second out and perhaps to use some for his own problems.

But when both packages are send he has some problems less :naughty:

It is still not in but it should be in transit in the country.

At least it came to customs on the 4th this month and left again on the 16th.
So that will be costing a big deal of money I think.

Would hope that it is in my hands on Tuesday.

Since I got that big box I have gotten a few messages and then ... silence.

i read your post & feel sorry for you, yes it's true here in 2 countries have very few modelors cos hobbykits are very expansive here..

sorry for my bad english, i want to find out more on this guy from you... how he look, where he last stay & what type of models he do. you post the big box of feraris there, i suddenly remember i also buy some feraris kits from a guy in sg a few years back... a weird seller.

why? i remember this guy selling his 100+ model kits very strange. he has only feraris & nothing else! he even selling compressors, airbrush, raw materials also... like give up making model. the funny thing is, a boy sit next to him always tell him about the model kit every time i'm asking about it. he seem to be blind & need the boy advise, but i cannot see his eyes cos wearing sunglasses.

i think i have buy some model kits in the end & he give me free alot of half scratchbuild cars very cheap price. if you can post a picture of him i maybe able to see if he is the guy you looking for... or at least i know where the flea market he is selling.

4 years to complete an eBay deal! I though waiting 2 weeks for packages to arrive was bad.

I'll try to get the right information to a few and how they might be of help to me.
Hope it might deliver some results but my hope is low for that.

Seems he is/was using that too .. found a profile on eBay with SBC3133R as name and even bought from Rockinanko (was he bidding on his own items :nono:).
And they have the same date of birth 05/15/1970 :screwy:

My advice is not to deal with Rockinanko course he seems to just ignore everything !
If you do want ... try to do it in person by hand to hand.

So disappointing to others this.

I wrote him that he had bought a nice car late 2011 (Over there you have to have cash to even buy one) but that he could not pay me :loser:

Looks like he is a rotten apple for the others over there and I feel sorry for that :(

Correct .. and the last I did not do course of "a friends favor" ..... Friends or not just do it course Business is besides friendsships !

This is my biggest dent ever and also in trusting friends.

The last one I really wanted course it is the kit 'with' engine .... guess I got to search again or find a cheap Dino EM kit.

Sorry to hear, that's crap.

Quick question though - how did you pay through PayPal, was it credit card? I always use my Discover card to pay through PayPal and it came in handy once. They can go after the seller and, at least in my case, can give a courtesy refund. I paid a notoriously unRELIABLE resin caster $44 for some parts that never arrived. I gave him about 9 months to provide parts and nothing showed up, so I said screw it. He still fought but Discover paid me anyway.

No I do not have credit card linked to it for my own safety of spending too much :lol2:

The other thing is that I do not expect him to even send them anymore or refund the last amount to me !
But if by chance he is reading this 'offline' then I can say that I will not stop trying to get them :P
