KL-ZE Engine Tick

Hey guys, i have a KL-ZE engine in my MX-3 aaaaaand i have run into a bit of a problem. everytime i rev up to about 2,000 rpm, and it makes a ....violent ish ticking noise near the bottom of the engine. My dad thinks that it is something to do with the Timing Chain...and my friends friend thinks its a split bearing..along with my moms friends husband. if that made any sense.

Aaaanyway. i was wondering if any of you guys have had any sort of noise that sounds remotely like this... any help is appreciated.
