Can anyone recommend a good bearing packer and where to get it?
The one I had broke and really wasn't very good anyway. I had a really hard time getting the grease too sufficiently squeeze out of the wheel bearings. I always had to supplement doing a messy hand pack.

Can you post up pics? I have to re-do my left side ones this off-season and have never re-packed one before.

Uwe, in my Airforce days we had very good bearing packers available but standard trade practice was to hand pack bearings. If you want to obtain a good quality bearing packer it may be worth asking your aircraft maintenance company what brand / supplier they use.
