I killed a Cobra?

So, yeah either I was just really tired and halucinating, or I took this 96' cobra by half a car!

I am heading home from a night of partying...every night...and I see mustang taillights in front of me and it's like 3 this morning. So, I cruise slowly up to assess the situation, and I see a cobra tag on the side of the stang so I'm thinking I hve no chance. Well we come up to JTB/ J. Turner Butler BLvd. otherwise known as (202) and we get on to it. On the on ramp he punched it so I followed I was hanging with him!?! So, at this point I let off he kept going, and I though to myself..."Damn, Anthony you may have a chance against this guy?...Na, there is no way...well you did hang with him!" So, I caught up to him a ways down, and he tappy's the brakes we are at a 50mph roll hit it I hung then started to walk?!?!?!??!!!!!!!!????????

Inward thinking as I am walking away---->"What tha', holy..,,, uh?!" :eek:

I took him by about 2/3 a car to about 95. Needless to say I went home and beat off! No, not really, but Some one tell me could this guy just not drive? Could it have been one of the infamous Cobras with less hp? Am I just a badass mutha'!? or lucky! I just want a bit of clairification on what the hell happened!?!!!?!?!??!!??!?!?!?!!?!?!?!??!?!?!

They're just not all that fast...Low 14 second quarters. Pretty quick, but your 300ZX runs about that if not a smidge quicker, right? Good kill nonetheless though:)

Was he hallucinating? Was the guy a bad driver? Is he a bad mother fucker? Was it really a Cobra?

plus it was from a roll which means lack of turbo lag :D

Excellent kill :D I also think that those older cobras aren't nearly what the newer ones were so its not only a kill, its a clean kill. The other guy just didn't have the car to take you :)

The others have touched on it, but they're right. The older cobras, before they switched to the current styling, were not much better than the GT's. The 99's were the ones that had hp problems, not meeting their rated hp. Granted, they all take well to mods, but if he was stock, the outcome seems like it would be in your favor, which was the case. Therefore, good kill, nothing you should be worried about :D .

Yeah my car is naturally aspirated! No turbos here.....:mad: DAMN!

Good kill and it's def possible. The 96 and up N/A 4V Cobra's aren't that amazing.
But watch out, the new hot ticket is too buy a N/A Cobra which are going cheap since the 03' came out. Buy a S/C for it. That set-up will walk away from a stock 03 Cobra

Yeah those things are sick! I wouldn't try to even think about taking one of those.

Actually there is quite abit of difference between say, the 96 cobra and a 95 GT. The GT has 215 hp while the cobra has 305. A decent driver has no trouble getting the 96-98 cobras into the upper 13s. This 300zx is N/A, seems to be clearly a case of Demonzx being a better driver and beating a faster car. Good Kill.

just to mak it short i pulled up against a 03 cobra at the 1/4 mile track...lets just say i pulled a 12.2 @122 on his a##. should have seen his face...down goes another stang
