several months ago i posted an original question about my Riv "chuggleing" that can be read here.
http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=900372

well i replaced the plugs, and wires. fuel filters, and fuel pressure regulator. while doing that my buddy noticed that my supercharger was making allot of noise. when i changed the plugs we noticed that the car was running lean too. so what do you think replace the entire supercharger with a remanufactured one for $375 or replace the bearing coupler for $45? or maybe i'm still got other problems any help?

It depends on what the noise is; a rattling sound, of a bearing sound. Have you checked the S/C oil level? If it is low, you may have a bearing problem. In addition, you can take the belt off of the pulley and check for back & forth motion to determine the condition of the coupler. BTW, a noise in the S/C has nothing to do with an engine running lean; in fact, is very hard to determine a lean condition by visual inspection of a used plug! Your 02 sensor controls fuel trim and that can be monitored with a scanner.
