any one street racing in glen burnie

I don't think too much goes down there anymore because of the cops and such. I know there are a TON of really nice cars out that way but mostly everyone from that area goes to Rockville to race. That's the big spot over there now. Every thursday at the Barnes & Noble in Rockville there's a big gathering. No racing just hanging out, chillin, talking that sorta thing. Then on Friday's and Saturday's everyone meets there again and then goes to race. What are you driving anyways?

From his profile it says Grand National. With a few tweaks, that can be one fast car.

theres not really any setup races since they shut down mcdonalds or they are trying to but if you come to cruise the strip you can catch a few races there are some good competitors out there well i dunno about for you guys but for me and my friends

I get in some races up glen burnie every time i go out, to many cops now tho. I run my turbo buick, i can get out of its own way when it needs to, it not the fastest car out there. I raced a black supra the other week end but never got to talk to the guy because the cops made us leave the k mart lot.

i live right by columbia. there's a car gathering in the old bankrupt Kmart and Uptons shopping center right off of Dobbin. it's around Baja Fresh, Tweeter, Wendy's, McDonalds, and friendly's, every sunday around 8 PM. they go somewhere to race afterwards. there are alot of nice cars by Centennial Cues up on r40 also. this prelude...ahhh, so nice.

I raced a black supra the other week end but never got to talk to the guy because the cops made us leave the k mart lot. omg i seen that! you were whoopin him when i seen it, it was at the light with the gas station right? i was in a celica gts that nite, im pretty sure it was you that i saw racing the black supra

Yea that was me, we set the race up at the k mart just for fun , its running much better now plus i have a set of 26+11.50 et streets on the back now. Thats a fast supra. I was at MC D's before that for a little while.

so did you beat him or not? i seen you infront of him but then this truck got in our way and we raced that and i wasent even paying attention to yall anymore

I beat him from the light but i think he had a little more top end that night because of my problems i was having, i ran him with a cracked cross over pipe so my turbo would not spool for crap and still had my cat on, and broke a trans mount, i really dont know how i beat him that night.

which supra was it? i know theres 2 black ones for sure but one has a front kit on it, did this guy have a front kit?....theres some badass cars out there i feel lucky to live in an area with such nice cars

not sure , i thought it had one but the guy i was with said it didnt, but it was a fun race, and hell maybe next week he will beat me , its all in the fun of it.:D theres lots of fast car to run but to many cops.

Are you talking about the one on Rockville Pike? If so, i know where that is, nice and straight road. Do you mind telling around what time these gatherings take place? I might have to check it out after i get out of school.

Yeap, on Thursdays it's usually around 9 until whenever people start hangin out. On the weekends to race around 10 or 11. I'm in school down south now and haven't been in forever so I assume they're still going on if they haven't gotten busted frequently or anything.

I can't get any action out here, and when I do it is usually lame ass posers with crappy rides.

small world :smoker2: i happen to live in GB o-o too bad i don't support racing on streets~ sorri dudes. i happen to see more rice in GB than performance.

I dont support some street racing my self, some of the crazy driving up there is y the cops are there all the time. Theres nothing like a good heads up race on a open road. It seems the faster you get your car the more you really need to watch out.:D

i happen to see more rice in GB than performance what do you drive? oh yea sure theres alot of rice but theres also alot of nice cars....for instance today i seen a silver TT supra.....omg is was so badass, yesterday seen acouple vipers, ive seen tons of nice ass cars out on ritchie

yea there is alot of nice cars up there. even the rice are looking pretty good these days .

Yeah, there are, but there is nothing out there that I've found that is really any comp. It seems there are a lot of nice cars where you guys are.

There are quite a bit of nice cars around where I live as well... I just always seem to be not at the right place, don't know the right people, or am just dont realize that theres fast cars racing around me......

As far as racing? No, not really. Don't really do the organized street racing thing down here. But there are some pretty nice cars, and 460 is a pretty long, straight, safe place to race. Saw a guy yesterday driving around the drill field in a targa top Dodge Viper. Bright red with a black flame job. It's really beautiful. I hope to have a chance to race him some day:)
