92 Accord Dome Light Issue

I have a 1992 Honda Accord. The dome light did not work when I bought the car. There doesn't seem to be a fuse under the dash kick panel other than sun roof, but I don't have one, that relates to interior lights. Under the hood, there is a 15 amp interior light fuse that is not blown. I tried replacing the bulb (my god $10 for a bulb at autozone) and it still does not work. Any ideas where to look next will be appreciated.

The power that powers the powers the dome light also powers the cigarette lighter relay, so if that works, there should also be power to the dome light. The switch is on the ground side of the light and is a three position switch. Position one is off, two goes to the door switches through diodes in the safety indicator module and the third position connects to ground. So if the light doesn't work in any position check for power on one side of the bulb and ground at the third position of the switch. You will probably need a cheap voltmeter to check this.

350GT-I looked at your site and also Majestic and can't see what you are talking about. The switch is part of the light assembly. The only other stuff is the light bulb and the lens. I haven't removed a light assembly/switch to see how the switch is mounted in the assembly but it shouldn't be rocket science.

Sorry guys. I fixed this a while back. The contacts on the light bulb were just not making good enough contact with the receptacle. After jiggling around and twisting, I got it to work.
