Engine? On my 3.8, I do the rear plugs from underneath the car.

I also do them from under the vehicle but I have a hoist and it takes me about 15 mins.
You can remove the wiper arms and cowl from up top also, there are many posts here and on google.

Remove the air intake resonator from the throttle body and air cleaner assembly.
referring to a (bracket) at the rear end of the intake manifold which is strut-like in that it connects the rear surface of the cylinder head to the intake manifold plenum, near spark plug #5. It's purpose is to mechanically support that end of the intake manifold.

I took the wiper tub off. It's a lot easier than it sounds. While you are there, if your O2 sensor is old you may want to replace it too.
Be sure to use copper anti-seize on the plugs, not silver. I heard silver kills the O2 sensors. Appearantly, if some gets into the combustion chamber and burns it releases a chemical that kills them.

easiest way is to unbolt your alternator and push back for number 1
unbolt bracket that holds the intake manifold sing away for # 3& 5
piece of cake

Piece of cake until you snap or spin a bolt or spend hours troubleshooting a problem induced by the disassembly. You avoid that by going from underneath. Takes an hour for all six.

I've done mine from underneath (97 GV 3.3 engine184,000 miles) on several occasions. You need a long extension 30 -36 inch and a flex knuckle If this is the 1st time you are changings them, it really helps if you can spray some WD40 on to the base of the plugs & let it penetrate for awhile. The original plugs get set up pretty well and breaking them loose can be hard.
